Square dancing is more than just dancing, it’s a social activity that brings people together and creates lasting friendships.

Join Buckles and Bows Square Dance Club and discover one of Thousand Oaks’ most welcoming communities. Our 18-week beginner lesson series starts September 15, 2026, and is designed specifically for people with absolutely no dance experience. You’ll laugh, learn, make new friends, and become part of a community that supports and encourages one another every step of the way.

No partner required. No experience necessary. Just wear comfortable shoes and bring a willingness to have fun.

Nope! We will make sure everyone has a partner weather you attend alone or with a group.
Do I need experience?
This is a class designed for absolute beginners. Including those with 2 left feet!
What should I wear? Comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
What shoes should I wear?
Comfy shoes that you can move around in.
What ages can participate in the class?
Ages 10+ Who can follow direction and be attentive in class.
